Why we do it
We believe strongly in innovation, competition, independence and sovereign decision making: for ourselves and our customers. We believe that big tech monopolies negatively impact our economy, national security, innovation and the environment. They remove choice and freedom of action.
We work to give it back.
This has become ever more critical in a time of increasing geopolitical uncertainty, the growing politicisation of US big tech vendors, spiralling cloud costs, large, un-democratic data grabs for AI training and a leveraged UK economy.
Why we are True UK Sovereign
Many vendors claim to offer sovereign UK cloud services, but we believe that true sovereignty must be deeper than simply the location of a datacentre. Sovereignty must protect freedom of action for organisations within their chosen jurisdiction. Ownership of the company, financial leverage and use of software and hardware are all consequential in terms of sovereignty
- We are fully UK owned and based

- We use UK datacentres only
- We use open source foundations for our services and have no dependence on US big tech software
- We source and build our own hardware
Each of these elements contributes to our ability to remain sovereign in terms of the control over our organisation and services and, in turn, pass such sovereignty on to our customers.
